He was accompanied by Harald Klein, Head of the Department, International Politics of the Foundation in Potsdam.

Harald Klein, in his remarks, underlined the priorities of the Foundation in its international work through strengthening of liberal networks (like the Economic Freedom Network) and keeping the dialogue process open. Speaking from the Indian perspective, Brahma Chellany, a strategy and security expert, also stressed the need for liberal solutions to the current problems, be it at the global level or at the local level. Development of societies should be based on liberal values, he said.

The visitors also travelled to Dharamsala, during their stay in India and held high-level discussions with the top-leadership of the Tibetan parliament in exile.
