FNF, Sri Lanka partner Business Development Strategies Consultancy (BDS) made another significant stride in their journey to promote the concept “Education Opens the Door to Freedom”. Having gathered their success with the Gainful Employment program targeting Ordinary Level & Advanced Level School Children, the management of the Arts Faculty of the University of Colombo made a request to BDS to carry out a similar programme for the undergraduates.

As it was in the case of School Children, this is also the first time a private sector organization and a non national organization has been officially invited by the University authorities to carry out a programme for their undergraduates. Whilst it is indeed a conquest for BDS to get an opportunity to introduce liberal concepts to another crucial segment of the civil society, it is also a solemn task to tackle and win over the notoriously socialist minded and welfare oriented undergraduates.

It is a terrific advantage to have undergraduates as a target group, as they not only grasp the concepts fast, but also get highly involved in the discussions, making the sessions thoroughly interesting and interactive.
