Consequently, the Liberty Institute was formed to promote awareness and appreciation of the four institutional pillars of a free society - individual rights, the rule of law, limited government, and free markets.

The Centre for Civil Society is an independent, nonprofit, research and educational organisation devoted to improving the quality of life for all people of India by reviving and reinvigorating civil society. We do it differently: we try to change people’s ideas, opinions, mode of thinking, the mindset by research, seminars, and publications.

Liberal Forum Pakistan
Liberal Forum Pakistan is a civil society initiative, which evolved after discussions among concerned citizens from various parts of the country. It was formally launched on 11th August 2000 in Lahore. The day symbolizes Forum’s commitment to the vision of country’s founder, Quaid-i-Azam, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, well articulated in his inaugural speech to the Constituent Assembly on 11th August 1947.

The Institute for Democracy and Leadership (IDL)
The Institute for Democracy & Leadership was established in 1999 to foster the process of democracy and to address the moral, social, ethnic and economic issues that plague our country. The IDL functions as an NGO comprising of a group of professional volunteers.
Project for Economic Education (PEE)
The project for Economic Education (PEE) was set up in 1985 by the Late Mr. Minoo Masani, as a joint project of the Economics Research Centre (ERC) and the Leslie Sawhney Programme (LSP).
One of the objectives of the Project is to promote the economic reform process and to make it both understood and accepted by the people. In 1990 the Project for Economic Education was responsible to revive the earstwhile Indian Liberal Group (ILG) (www.liberalsindia.com). The ILG works for the re-emergence of a broad-based liberal party, which can play a principled role in the emerging politics of coalition.
The Friedrich-Naumann-Foundation is in close cooperation with both PEE and the ILG.
